Fiberglass, calcium silicate, and rockwool insulations are flimsy, tear easily, and are difficult to set in place. A Better Design

Most standard insulations require cladding, which is a secondary layer of metal sheeting or other type of covering that needs to be sourced, measured, cut, fit, and finally installed over the insulation. Cladding is time-consuming to install because it is difficult to deal with – especially over tees, valves, elbows and other uniquely shaped parts. And, even though it is meant to protect the insulation from the elements, most types of cladding are not very durable and damage easily.
Dragon Jacket solved the cladding problem by fully protecting our insulation’s foam core with built-in encapsulation. Our closed cell foam products are protected by a durable, seamless polyurea coating that is waterproof and highly resistant to many petroleum-based chemicals, hydrocarbons, and other caustic substances.
